The story is a parody of the life of the real Hojo Tokiyuki starting from the point where he's 8yo and his entire clan is wiped out by Ashikaga Takauji (who in this story is a schizo with God-tier luck). From there he allies with other people and fights against Takauji and his allies for the control of Japan. The story starts good, but it gets worse the older everyone gets in part because historically Tokiyuki was just a footnote in Takauji's life and there's almost no info about him outside of the few times he fought Takauji and his allies, and since it's an historical manga, lots of good characters are bound to die.
