I'm at the ant area about an hour and a half in. I'm just not having fun. Without the special feeling of discovering this little bug world for the first time, and having 100000 HK ripoffs come out in the last 7 years, it hyperfocuses all the problems. When I get stuck on a level and lose all my money and travel from a bench an entire map away over and over and over, I can get through it when I really want to keep exploring this world im seeing for the first time. In Silksong I've already seen this world more or less, so when I hit a die a few times I just get annoyed and want to stop playing. Is there a point where this changes and I go "oh, this game is new and fun and I want to push through difficult patches", or is it just more HK asking for 60 more hours of my time?
