Katana is more like Piccolo at this point. He wants to fight Denji but overall isn't antagonistic to him. In fact it kinda seems like they have both half-way recognized that they are the only two remnants left of their old street life, everyone else is gone and doesn't understand them.
Katana even felt bad for Denji when Asa was being a bitch to him.
