I'd like to add to this where the bad timeline also constantly brings up FF Crossover-slop.
Some could argue it started with Stormblood, with the Ivalice/Omega stuff. Thought I'd forgive the Ivalice stuff that because they were actually setting it up in ARR (during the first Gaius cutscene in 2.0, one of the soldiers said he was from Dalmasca in JP). And Livia was called the "Witch of Dalmasca" because of the subjugation. Plus Bozja's stuff was well integrated too afterwards
But looking at 5.0, it goes: 'LOL DRAKENNIER IS NOW IN THE WORLD", then 6.0 jeet-ified Thavnair, and made the 13th pivoted to "LOL MEMBER FF4?". Then 7.0 has "LOL MEMBER FF9 AND FF11?"
Crossover sidequests/events are fine and all, but I hate how it feels like half of 14's lore is just advertising another game's lore.
