I'll be honest, about 10-15% of that is a little over my head (especially page 8) but that's a lot more info than I've been able to find otherwise; thank you anon. I'll probably have to re-read this a couple times to fully understand it. On detail 3 between A and B is where I see that silver mark mentioned earlier, btw. However, I think my BM may need to be taken to someone who specializes in 1911s, or at least knows as much as a "real" gunsmith should, which is hard to find these days; hell, I'm currently having some bad gunsmith luck on another gun. The slide stop pin in mine is damaged like I said (need to replace or repair), and now that I'm remembering, due to the bend and gouging, it wanted to fall out of the gun (to the left) last I shot it. And the little detent pin wanted to unscrew. And I think it refused to engage on empty a certain percent of the time because of it being poorly maintained (or bad QC). IDK how I never complained to the place I bought that thing, holy fuck. $250 Star is going to cost me like $600 total easily lol. Shame because I like it in theory.
