Everything is going to go bankrupt, but then be bought out by those standing: tech companies. That means even more media consolidation, even more bottlenecking. Even more corporate control. A few AI algorithms will literally dictate all of society from here on out. That's beyond grim and dystopian.

There's an endless amount tv shows and films that could be made, but won't. Tons of books and media that could be adapted.

Netflix and streaming services are slop factories.

Our tech gets better, but the kind of media we can produce gets narrower and more irrelevant. It's beyond grim.
