Ohhhhhhhhh, Daniel. I was hoping I had something fucked up in my switchres/CRT-PC setup the last time I tried it, but no, it just shows your desktop between resolution changes in a super-obnoxious way and there's nothing you can do about. 480i/240p mode switches in a game like Chrono Cross are super-obnoxious as a result. I imagine it's fine in Linux, but... that's for another day for sure. I won't even bother embarrassing myself opening an issue.
