your faith must be accommodated through action aka "works", for if it is not, its is useless and dead.

when Paul speaks on "works" in Romans 4:4-5, he specifically means the works of the LAW, meaning the works of the jews.
We are not justified through the works of the Law, but through the works of Christ.
To have faith in the Law means to do the works of the Law
To have faith in Christ means to do the works of Christ

We do not have faith in the LAW, we have faith in CHRIST, therefore we must do what Christ tells us to do.
