I'm glad you feel that and they did it justice to show fujimoto how much he fucked up never concluding her story but even when I read part 1 back in 2020 and I wasnt even the biggest reze fan, I remember how fucking devistated and depressed reze said that line about makima as I didnt really think she was mindcontrolled back when I read it and just felt sadness. Then I reread the series a bunch a few years later and fell in love with reze again until the movie made me obsessed and now I want justice for her. I dont want her final line to be about being a carpet muncher even if she was being controlled. I want her to at least find peace or maybe be something important in part 3

dont accept what fuji did to her, fight for a good ending for her. At least the movie probably woke fuji up a bit but it was a little too late for that
