I'm glad you feel that and they did it justice to show fujimoto how much he fucked up never concluding her story but even when I read part 1 back in 2020 and I wasnt even the biggest reze fan, I remember how fucking devistated and depressed reze said that line about makima as I didnt really think she was mindcontrolled back when I read it and just felt sadness. Then I reread the series a bunch a few years later and fell in love with reze again until the movie made me obsessed and now I want justice for her. I dont want her final line to be about being a carpet muncher even if she was being controlled. I want her to at least find peace or maybe be something important in part 3

Sure, but imagine if all the hybrids came out to fight Pochita, but bomb is absent. I feel like that'd communicate to the reader that she's dead-dead. Again it's just this weird spot where bringing her back for just that fight and then no appearance, mention etc in part 2 just blueballs the reader.
I could be wrong and maybe she just shows up in the next arc or a part 3 or whatever but it feels like a missed opportunity, relationship or not

Part 2 would probably be better if Denji had friends like Power and Aki again. Just he and Asa is nice but there needs to be a recurring side cast to make it not so hyperfocused.

I still wouldn't say Fujimoto "fucked up" by not concluding her story at the end of part 1(cause yeah he literally said he was doing a part two and chapter 98 is still baller to me) it's just more the fact that well after all the bullshit the other hybrids basically got away with the lack of Reze really shows. Katana man is basically a joke. Quanxi is random just a desu ex machina now except when Fujimoto needs her not to be. Miri, Whip, and Spear are just jobbers. The bomb devil's "mother" is the current antagonist of the story, not Reze's. They have no interactions with each other. Not saying Fujimoto wouldn't unceremoniously kill of his characters(look what happened with Angel Devil) but I do not want to walk down that path of Reze getting turned into a literal object.(or worse a talking object like the teacher head sword).

It's more that even to the reader Denji's feelings on Reze as of part 2 are still kind of vague in that sense. Like he still loves her and only really refers to her as someone his disappeared from his life(maybe Denji was able to put two and two together before public safety took her reminds away but there is a lack of context on what happened with Reze, Barem, Miri, whip/spear immediately after the grave yard fight). A bit more reflection on Denji's part would have been nice.

Because Fujimoto doesn't bother building up the chemistry between them like he had with Reze and beyond Asa being a willing, hot body that throws herself at him there hardly exists any reason for the romance aspect of their relationship at all. It makes sense why she'd fall for him after getting saved so often, but Denji has no real reason to like her for herself beyond her trying to save him and him having fun with Yoru. In both the case of Makima and Reze I could clearly understand why he felt the way he did about them, but the romance between Asa and Denji feels like it just exists so the plot advancey (like so much of part 2).

And the is plot is moving foward without any clear direction and for no clear reason at all. Which is exactly why, despite "so much" having happened so far in part 2, and the stakes being raised this high, it still feels like hardly anything of note has happened. Even the very few moments that do feel significant (like Nayuta's death) are undermined by everything else and just feel so frustrating and pointless (like, this is why she'd dead, huh? this is the way she got killed off and her whole story ends? and if he brings her back that whole moment becomes literally meaningless and now notjing matters at all despite you wanting the character to have not died like this in the girst place).
