This shit sucks so much. I applied for a few engineering adjacent jobs since I got laid off of my first job after college at the start of September and all the positions were temp to hire, had zero benefits and also paid lower than what I would've made if I didn't lose that job. At this point, I don't care; I just want the money and experience, but a few of the places said that based on what my previous job was, they're afraid that I'd leave or not stay in that position for long but if I could get something equivalent to my previous position, I wouldn't bother applying for these jobs.
The job hunt is so bleak, I just want something to get some sort of income at this point and it just feels impossible. At this point I just feel like I'm going to be stuck in something akin to extended adolescence forever. It already took me roughly 9 months to find that first job.
