I'm an AEW guy through and through and a Jerichoholic since the Nitro days. I literally caught none of his time in WWF/E, as far as I'm concerned, he was mothballed in Ted Turner's Network basement with an unlimited supply of beer until a new wrestling company came around in 2019 and unearthed him.

That said, the guy literally had no issues jobbing (Action Andretti) even when TK probably tried like hell to talk him out of it, constantly promoted the company everywhere he went, and did everything within his power to get younger talent over whether those ideas were good (Inner Circle) or bad (Learning Tree).

If the guy goes back to WWE, they've gained a great one and one can only hope they listen to some of his better ideas.

tl;dr: Jericho is not the cancer Darby was talking about.
