RDR 2 annoyed the fuck out of me in terms of the immersion being dogshit. You put in hundreds of dollars investing in the camp while everyone is barely putting in a couple bucks then if you go do some shit for a few days and come back everyone and I mean everyone is like "ARTHUR WHY AIN'T YOU PULLING YOUR WEIGHT?!? WHY AIN'T YOU PUTTING IN MONEY ARTHUR???" It was completely baffling to me I think it happened in chapter 2 and it just made me feel a complete disconnect. Then the Strawberry thing happens where you murder basically an entire town and it barely gets brought up? Wouldn't it be massive news if 40ish people in one town got shot and killed? RDR 1 at least made sense in terms of your actions having realistic consequences. RDR 2 lost me. I don't even know how people defend it
