Struggling a bit playing Portal-Craft. I am new to this game, but I think that I maybe play to passively? Do I just keep playing that card that does three damage to the face? Or do I keep it on hand and summon it using spells? I tend to get my opponent low but then I struggle to finish them off before the Mega-Evolve something crazy.

I have gone first in pretty much all my games so far, and it really makes me feel like I am constantly on the backfoot just trying to keep up while the opponent get's to do better trades due to having the initiative with Evolves.

I also just think I am bad at this game.
