We didn’t get internet until age 12 and even then it wasn’t the most intuitive. Brainlets couldnt figure out how to get Winsock TCPIP to work correctly on windows 3.1 so the internet was retard free and awesome. Then it took another few years to get internet in a useable form on mobiles - that’s when the flood gates opened and the internet was lost. Millennials can still remember a time when you disappear from your house on your bicycle for hours and no one could call you, find you, etc without riding around the neighborhood themselves looking for you. Friends would come looking for your and your parents would be like “shiiiet I dunno where that little fucker is, did you try the ravine, bball courts, playground, etc?”

All kids would come home from school, change, then go outside to play until dark then go home. When we were teens we would walk around as a group, go eat, mall, arcade, look at CDs at HMV, etc.

Now there’s literally 18-21 year olds where I work. When they were born there was already iPhone and iPads with touch screens, app stores, and full internet access. They can’t comprehend a time without these devices because they where raised by screens.
