No, Madden 07 is better because it's a better made video game. 06-08 is generally considered to be the peak of the franchise.

Basketball is the one sport I can think of that isn't very fun to watch irl or play in vidya form. Even golf games are fun but I can only think of two basketball games that are kind of fun and they're both arcadey as hell.
