These are my two favorites in the game and I like the idea but couldn't he have gotten something unique instead? Now the only thing Morton has to make himself unique is fidget, and it feels like a stab at the guy. I wish he learned other skills on level up man....the door fight drools acid and has a nasty bite attack and can inflict status ailments, but he can only ape one of those by wearing the rusty crown.
Heck I'd even be happy if he got funny skills instead of "cool" ones, like him just swinging his loot bag like a club at people, like an attack that would get stronger the more junk that you've collected (or alternatively the more junk you've given him). Or what about him throwing random garbage at the opponent, like an offensive version of fidget, with each use of the skill varying depending on what he threw? Or confusing people with overly complicated words. I don't mean to ramble, but I just feel bad for the guy now. Dude gets only three skills while other party members have six or seven and now he shares two of those with one of the strongest allies in the game.
