Square infamously pulled resources from MD to work on their failed Avengers title since they wanted to chase that live service/Marvel money. There was supposedly another hub world you were supposed to visit in MD, as well as whole other Act that all got cut, and what remained had to be rushed and cobbled together. It's a goddamn shame what happened to MD, especially after HR was so successful. Adam deserved better.
