Yeah, anyone who has paid even the slightest bit of attention to the world knows that no one would give a shit about the religious aspect.
The real reason why they can't disclose the info, is because it would turn out that there's a shadow government controlling all major powers, at least to some extent and if we go even more conspiratorial, the governments might have been basically selling people to the ayyys in exchange for tech.
Then there's the subject of craft and their energy sources etc.. it's a big can of worms that no one tends to address when it comes to potential repercussions of the disclosure.
If any government has an energy source from captured craft, then it would remodel the entire geopolitical picture overnight and every energy company and nation that relies on energy commodities for trade, would tank to nothing immediately.
People just focus on some retarded social aspect regarding religion, which is a totally moot point.
