The digimon were real. The guy who created Jogmons handed over the Loader to Aegiomon. At first I thought the digimon were meant to be clones like the ones made by Chronomon, but the Jogmon guy literally told us to look after his digimon, so every digimon in the Loader is real as well.


so I'm gonna assume Aegiomon could use the Loader because he was all along Yuu's reincarnation, assuming the egg had some kind of super emergency mechanism that fucked up time around it and sucked in both Yuu and Justimon's data.
