I always wondered why they didn't turn SWEET-16 into an ASIC. The instruction set was super simple but filled in a gap in the 6502 capability set, that of 16 bit pointer handling.
Analogue stuff especially RF is cool, the /ham/ FAQ and library originated here in /cyb/ a few years ago. I am looking into building a small radio station and I am about to order a few RTL-SDR kits.
