Israel was revealed to be 49% of all posts on this board. The majority of memeflags are Israelis, and probably 10% of VPNs using countries like USA, Australia and Canada are IDF.
A lot of botfarms come from pooland. They're nearly always using VPNs.
China is a wildcard. They're like... the 19th most common poster or something, and appear to only comprise about 1% of board traffic. I don't doubt that the PLA has attempted (and currently attempts) to run cointel here, but the language gap probably keeps their efforts somewhat minimal.
OP is 100% correct. I've been on the chans since 2007 and been on /pol/ since Dorner. This place is absolutely putrid, unusable, botnetted dogshit at this point. It's not even a shadow of its former self.

Yeah, probably. But I spend 10 minutes a day here lurking instead of my usual routine engagement, where I would post to a dozen threads in a day. Think about it: if people like me have successfully been disincentivized to post regularly, then that provides a greater lapse in general discussion for bots to fill the gap. Read George A. Akerlof's essay "The Market for 'Lemons'" to better understand how federal authorities have managed to completely nullify the political impact of this place -- bots are used to lower the quality of the site, high quality posters are pushed out of the space, opening up more room for bots to shit up the site, generating even lower trust in the site's quality, etc.
It's a downward spiral that started around 2016, was optimized by 2019, and at this point has completely ruined the board.
