No, it's a collage of films and books they liked. The story is Crime and Punishment x Lost Highway. All the cast is stolen from some film, including Eddie who's taken from Full Metal Jacket.

Silent Hill datamining showed that originally Lisa was a 1:1 copy of Cameron Diaz. Probably too spot on so they changed it because it was too brazen even for them and they think someone would notice.

Part fo the fun of these old games is seeing a character show up and you try to find which American film they were lifted from.

well, she's ugly with a giant jaw and looks 45 at least for one. A horror game about being chased by an over the hill stripper is one thing, but that's not what the original was going for. Also baffling she has a strong mannish strong jaw when Maria is a clear Cameron Diaz copy.
