I played the whole game with mods and can confidently say that it looks just fine with the normal models instead of the chibi ones. There’s absolutely nothing that feels out of place about it. I actually believe the game was designed to look this way from the start, but some retard at Square probably couldn’t decide whether to abandon the chibi tradition and obviously, they chose wrong.
