Wrong again on every account. That 260M figure is from 2002. It's older than most /a/utists here and Shueisha themselves published 350M in 2008-2009 (which you also conceded so you don't get to backtrack now faggot). Yet, Shueisha are conveniently reverting to the old 260M. Why? To avoid Dragon Ball overshadowing One Piece and newer IPs like Demon Slayer and JJK. This is literally the Apple strategy, you don't hype the iPhone 6 anymore, even if it outsold the 15. You hype the new thing, because that's what sells now. Same energy.

Also, EVERY 3rd party source, including Oricon and mainstream TV networks like Fuji TV, confirmed 350M+. Shueisha even confirmed it themselves at the Tokyo Anime Fair in 2009.
>2002
Dragon Ball sold 260M. Confirmed at the Tokyo Anime Fair/Jump Expo
>2005
Dragon Ball sold 300M (160M Japan + 140M Overseas). Confirmed by Nikkei, Toei internal and Shueisha's industry documents.
>2008
Dragon Ball sold 350M. Confirmed by Oricon, Sankei, Weekly Playboy (Shueisha) and Livedoor News.
>2009
Dragom Ball sold 350M. Reaffirmed at Tokyo Anime Fair (Shueisha event).
>2013
Dragom Ball sold 350M. Confirmed by Fuji TV, Toei, promotional media for Battle of Gods at Mando Kobayashi's program.
>2025
No official updates in 17 years. Lowballed to "260M" on paper which Dragon Ball has passed A LONG time ago and is well past 450M+.
>WSJ, the only ones who know how many volumes they've sold worldwide
Nah, WSJ is the only one with the motive to lie about them and lie by omission, specifically. Imagine if Toyota kept reporting their car sales from 2002 while pretending nothing sold since. That's what's happening here. Shueisha has actively:
>Frozen Dragon Ball's sales updates
>Avoided submitting it for Guinness
>Used old stats in press releases
>Redirected hype toward One Piece and Demon Slayer
Japanese Dragon Ball fans even contacted Shueisha about this back then and already debunked the lowered number using sales from publishers outside Japan.

Dragon Ball >>> everything.

It's like the Michael Jordan of manga. No matter how many new manga Shueisha pumps out like the slop machine it is, Dragon Ball will always be compared but never surpassed.

Dragon Ball doesn't need Shueisha anymore, which is probably why they hate it so much, lmfao.

Yup, from Shueisha themselves. From an anime convention presented by Shueisha themselves in 2009 (see picrel), read it again Spic, NICE and SLOW.

Trash is trash, especially a trash character who does nothing but show up once, die in their one and only fight and is carried SOLELY by their seiyuu. Lmao. Maybe that's why Demon Slayer faggots love the Flame Jobber too when he's just a high budget Yamcha.

From an anime convention presented by Shueisha themselfes in 2009, read it again faggot. And it was reaffirmed by Toei on their official website in 2013 https://toei-anim.co.jp/movie/2013_dragonballz/news/30.html

Shueisha has been sabotaging Dragon Ball for decades now so that 260M they changed into is fake. Those 260M figures was from 2002, and that would mean the manga stopped selling for decades which is untrue.
