Sly did not have to have the fucking "itch" to steal. He did not have to betray Carmelita and then act like a total fucking faggot afterwards ("I'll call you! :D").

All they fucking had to do in the intro was have it so that Bentley discreetly contacts Sly about the disappearing pages of the Thievious Raccoonus under Carmelita's nose, explain the seriousness of the situation, then plan the heist in secret in hopes that they can fix things without Carmelita being the wiser. Then you can have Carmelita bust in, have the heartbreak moment, then Sly feels like an asshole and is like "I promise it's not what it looks like" or some shit as she blasts away with her shock pistol.

I just fixed the intro to Thieves in Time. Now someone has to fix the rest of it.
