I notice there's a guy in here who calls any comment that touches to close to home "midwit." Weapon triangle is lame, it's a nothing mechanic that oversimplifies mechanical relationships, that casuals adore because it makes FE seem simpler and more "reducible" to generalizations.
The fact that a javelin and a hand axe are meta defining in the games where it's supposedly super duper important says a lot. It only appears in so many games because it's easy to add on to a game's real gameplay as an afterthought.
