Actually you know what anon I just had an idea that I think you would enjoy a lot. Try loading up the original dungeon siege, but make it so you have a full party of custom dudes you control. This way you can command a small tactical unit without over stressing about management. I enjoyed doing this when I was younger and it scratched the same itch as strategy and simulation games. Or just play Tropico.
