Am I the only one who wanted to see more of Booker-Comstock and Slutty-Elizabeth in Rapture? They were a match made in heaven. Both were the worst version of themselves. Both had hit rock bottom. Both were drowning in guilt and self-hate. It could've been so fucking kino to see them forced to reluctlantly join forces just to have a small chance against the hordes of splicers and Ryan's men. Hell, I wouldn't mind if they actually ended up becoming an incest power couple by the end of the game. Their chemistry was off the charts.

This would've been unironically the best ending for Burial at Sea. Think about it:

They clearly hit rock bottom which is why BaS episode 2 should've forced them to team up in order to survive the Rapture war and eventually learn to tolerate each other and accept who they are.
If they realize the absurdity of trying to find redemption or vengeance in their situation, nothing is really preventing them to escape to Paris and become the incest power couple they were always meant to be.
