This would've been unironically the best ending for Burial at Sea. Think about it:

They clearly hit rock bottom which is why BaS episode 2 should've forced them to team up in order to survive the Rapture war and eventually learn to tolerate each other and accept who they are.
If they realize the absurdity of trying to find redemption or vengeance in their situation, nothing is really preventing them to escape to Paris and become the incest power couple they were always meant to be.
