I have an interesting question.
If I'm on like a 7-10 year upgrade cycle what should I be looking for durability-wise when selecting a motherboard (one of the most infuriating system parts to troubleshoot and replace)? Will a $300 board have certain specs not found on a $150 that would make it last longer/be more resilient? My old board for example had a Dual BIOS that saved my bacon once when the BIOS update failed and almost bricked my system but I was able to restore a default good one from the other on-board chip, but it seems like modern boards don't include/advertise that feature anymore.
