The reality middle class life in the states is overpaying on a 60+ year old house that has asbestos and lead pipes and sitting in traffic for 30-40 minutes every morning while eating just the absolute worst slop.
"Rich" i.e the top 80th percentile live in ugly tasteless McMansions

I'd rather live in a simple apartment and be able to get everywhere quickly via train and walking. Would make our population healthier too
