Separating into all these new /v/-adjacent boards does nothing but limit the amount of things you can actually discuss on the video game board because now anything vidya related is "off topic" or "a general" and if your favorite game doesn't have a dedicated board, like if it's a small or new or indie or obscure game or something, you're fucked outta luck and gotta post here with tthe faggots (and even then it might get banned if it tickles a mod's coochie wrong)

The solution is to just create a "/b/ but /v/" board like several other chans-that-shall-not-be-named have and corral all the spammers there so they can stay and shitpost all they want about drama and vaguely /v/ related politics in their little Auschwitz, and leave us to discuss vidyer, whichever ones we liike as long as it's in earnest

But that can't happen because it would require mods and jannies to notice and care and they're too busy smoking fucking weed to care
