The grey background definitely adds to the sense of bleakness and isolation. There's nothing else, just the Pokemon, the weapon, and that... figure. It's pretty stark. Is it trying to convey a sense of hopelessness or despair? Or maybe some kind of commentary on the current state of things?

Drawthreads, and this site, died in 2025.
This h-captcha 15 min timer wait bullshit has slowed down several boards I lurk and post in, I can feel the emptiness.
It would be during sleeping hours you'd have to bump a thread on a busier board maybe one and a half to two hours between 2-7am, now I seen 4 hour gaps between bumps, shit slow as hell.

I look at Geiger and realize my pencils will never equal his, look at Wrightson and know I will never equal those inks. I see fucking hyper gross anatomy porn people post here and I just sigh because the shading and color work is amazing. I just CAN'T let that get me down and I just keep drawing crappy doodles like pic related, and keep my head down.

I have seen people draw for years and still be mediocre why others have become near pros. Talent and how their minds work is also a factor.
If I start from nothing at say 30 years of age I will never match someone who started at 15. When I am 45 and they are 30, they will still have the advantage. Its way too late to start as an adult, you need to start as a child, back in the days when no one ever told you are your was bad and you didnt know it either cause you were a kid who loved drawing.

Tell me thread, what's the point of trying to get things better if they drive away the artist you enjoy hanging around ? Just because he did one little thing someone didn't like once, maybe twice ?

I use infinite painter.
I draw on my s24.
Im waiting on a Wacom one.
The transition from trad to digital was awkward especially considering how small my screen is. I find the convenience of digital to be a huge bonus. The only issue is learning new techniques as many trad techniques do not translate. I still draw trad too tho!

something interesting I just thought of. afaik nazifag has literally never once defended herself, only others
>got into multiple arguments with people trying to tell her the squad are exploiting her because "they wouldn't do that"
>got upset at poopcat for posting tails diaper art because "it's humiliating to tails"
>got upset at ren for insulting mars in gemini men, later admitted she only got upset because cybr is mars in gemini
she literally values a discord server, a fictional fox, and a bipolar schizoid more than she values herself
