Trigger trying to have more continuity this season compared to the original Gainax one was dumb enough, but you can't feel anything for that cat or any character when the first 2 segments for most episodes this season are little longer than 4 minutes, these fuckers should have 2 equally long segments like most of season 1 did if they want this sort of thing to have any meaningful impact on the viewer, the Ghost Cat episode was just an abridged and much shorter version of the fat bastard episode from season 1, imagine if Brief was introduced on a 4 minutes long short instead of a 11 minutes long one or if Scanty & Kneesocks were introduced on a 4 minutes long short instead of the first 22 minutes long segment in the show's History, it just won't have the same impact (but then again that way they probably won't be spamming the motherfucking living shit out of Brief this season, seriously what the fuck?)

I expect the retarded lorefags at Studio TRIGGER to at least TRY to explain in a way that somewhat makes a minimum fucking amount of sense how Panty & Stocking getting killed by Chuck turning into zombies, killing the Demons Sisters, destroying the entire city and eating both Garterbelt and Brief alive fits into season 2's "canon" now that they're trying to be continuity heavier
