Other odd thing of his mindset is he even says here he didn’t think branching stories were good but then he had this idea, then asked Uchikoshi to help him do it cause he does those types of games. Didn’t consider at all trying it for himself just asked Uchikoshi to make something out of his initial route and setting

I think so too, considering before the game came out how much he was saying his company is fucked if the game doesn’t sell makes it strange he left the bulk of the game to the rest of his team. I think his mentality was probably ‘I wrote my HL story so I’m fine with everyone else doing whatever they want with it go nuts.’
