it's really annoying on this difficulty when there's enemies that aggro you right as soon as the level loads. this is the least damage i've managed to take trying to fight my way through this opener. feelsbadman,jpg
why did id software do this
e2m6 was pretty boring except for the red key section and final encounter guarding the exit in the slime room
my goal is to beat e2m7 conserving at much cells as possible so i can shoot at the cyberdemon until he dies. nightmare reflex cyberdemons don't fuck around
then onto inferno!!!! haven't decided what to play after that (thinking scythe based on looking over enemy counts on wads before i play doom 2, never played it before at all)
it's too bad quake singleplayer never picked up such a dedicated single player mapping scene
