We have an O line that is already decimated from injuries from training camp. We also lost the transfer wide reciever from stanford who we really needed. Now we are going to have a WHITE wide receiver out there. The defense has been recruiting muh oversized DBs who can't man cover anything. The interior defensive line is nothing but transfers. Texas should realistically be ranked around number 10 in the country. There is some chance that the defense is elite because of the pass rush and front 7 but other than that its a very middling team. Wingo will be elite but teams will just bracket him. Our running backs are all fucked from injuries and you just know it will be 3 star Wiesner getting all the carries again. Has there ever been a time when a first year starting QB and 4/5 newly starting offensive line were elite? I doubt it. Thats a tall ass order.
