We're one bad day away from ruin.
Look around you. And consider the population hollowing trends of contemporary civilization while you at it.
Consider our nuclear facilities, our chemical processing plants, dams, and sewage systems. All circulating substances that require close attention around the clock.
Do you think we can bounce back from a world war or even an global ecological/atmospheric disaster? Societies of aging populations, nihilistic and/or hedonistic attitudes , laden with debt, irrational working hours and business leaders?
