I was a skiptard for a while but I'm scraping up some normal difficulty orbs for plat coins in MN, and so I read the yggdrasil book story.
Why did Laeradr help the king? These beings didn't help or save everyone, and the nameless king was such an evil bastard it makes Surtr look like lawful good. Legitimately all it did was cause the deaths of a lot more people, so morally it wasn't even in line with his ideology, as it hurt indirectly in a far greater capacity. How the fuck did they snag all his kids that quick if it was a solo mission, and if he was so miraculous why did they kill them all immediately instead of similarly trying to extract their knowledge and power? Wasn't Askr from Yggdrasil too? The fuck is up with that?
Why did he bother making himself a gooby clone if the clone was just going to be terminally depressed too? Now no one's dealing with the tree. Why did he make random human vegetables into clones of his kids if they weren't good enough for him and he was just going to repeat it over and over? It feels like they also glossed over that whole vegetable thing too, like man you erased their souls dude what the fuck? Why didn't he just mind control Kiran into doing what he wanted.
