I had the largest moment of genuine denial during this part of the direct. At first when I saw the Samus bike, I was like

>"Oh, I guess they're bringing some third party racing game in and having Samus as a guest character like Link was in Soulcalibur?...wtf game is this? Wait...you shoot in this game?..."

I just wasn't processing that it was Metroid Prime 4 for that entire segment. It wasn't until she got off the bike and it switched to 1st person view that I had the most unsettling realization and feeling of disgust over what I just saw. They literally thought this footage was good enough to open up with? That it would be an exciting moment to show Samus stunting on a fucking motorcycle like she's in Mad Max, in an empty fucking wasteland???

I still can't believe this was thought up. What the actual fuck? It's like a Newgrounds comedy sketch...My hype for Metroid Prime 4 fucking died today. Good job, Nintendo.
