Fun fact the FSB has a special box for this. Its a small-ish generator inside a box with a hand crank and some knobs/dials. Spin the crank to generate current and pain in whoever you attached to the wires. Kind of looks like an old timey rotary phone, and because of this the FSB glowniggers call this practice "Making a phone call to Putin."

Now that I think about it, its probably a repurposed field telephone
