It's still the best melee combat I've ever experienced in a game. I love timed parry and I love ripostes and it sucks to see such wasted potential. The whole "reee the sweatlord is ballerina dragging animation exploit cucumber fucking me" exists but is blown way out of proportion. The problem was the incompetent devs who hated comp fags and fucked casuals fags in that process. And also they should've fucking had better mod support
