newfriend here, recently finished Twinkling Watermelon, what did /kdg/ think of it?

personally loved most of it - it ton of tropes I like and was pretty much on the ball as far as what I want out of a kdrama. the female lead's character and her actress's performance were probably the highlights, holy shit bros she was so good. the writing quality dipped a bit at the end though and the ending in particular felt really weak, almost like it went against some of the themes that the show was seemingly trying to express. still I'd say it's like 8.5-9 for me because everything before then was superb
