This is what I call a misdirection conspiracy theory. Something so crazy that people get wrapped up into that makes them waste their energy on it. These people tend to believe other and more legitimate conspiracies but now those legitimate issues are associated with crack-pot shit so the masses just disregard it by association.

Other notable types like this are flat earth, lizard people, and satanic/demonic worship/rituals/magic powers.

There's a reason all these crazy people start making loads of threads whenever something big is being dug into here.

Ok so which god are you worshipping? Ya know people didn't worship the whole pantheon. gods were the patrons of city states and communities.
And beyond that people might have a god they worship in their own home that is different to that.
And to that point which pantheon are you looking at and what are your rites and beliefs?
What are your holidays? What are the celebrations like? What do they mean?
Do you pray? How do you pray? Are you asking the god for favor of some sort? Have you received that?

Basically if you want me to consider this pagan stuff you have to convince me this isn't just a larp for political performative reasons.
