It shouldn't. Same with Smash Kart and Smash Party, you'll dilute the original games and cannibalize their sales. Plus, imagine having to hope for your favorite character to appear in Smash...but it's the fucking film. Imagine wanting your never-ever NINTENDO character to be in Smash, and they show up in a fucking movie instead of the playable roster.
