Intelligent systems needs to do something with her beyond just being present in Warioware. The team really enjoys the characters they create but they don't really do anything big with them yet. I still think they need to make an RPG or adventure game using micro game elements. Maybe have a collection of stories focused on specific characters, that would revitalize the fandom I'm sure.

They specifically redesigned her in a way that would fit the Mario crowd. Peach is pink, Daisy is orange, Rosalina is blue and Syrup is purple. Alongside that, she's a redhead, something the core Mario girls today still lack. This is speculation on my end, but I think Syrup was supposed to join the Mario rosters and Shake It! was supposed to be the game that started a new "Wario" outside of Ware, one that would return to having a relationship with Mario (Wario Land 1 was also called Super Mario Land III).

There's this push for an NCU, and that's probably the stupidest thing they could do when Mario alone has so many characters you can focus on. If not for the increasingly larger game budgets, you'd probably see an Ashley-focused game by now. Wario again has two series under his belt, so it's clear that there was enough effort and interest to not only make those series, but to continue them.
