Not even close. Even Diablo 1 is more complex than Skyrim. It's embarrassing how poorly stats and item system are made in tes5. D2 and other ARPGs are galaxy brain compared to it.
Frankly, I hope TES6 completely ditches all the pretense and just makes an action game, they clearly have no idea what to do with RPG part of the series. It just gets in the way and devs are too fucking retarded to think of any good solutions.
