how about a cavalry unit? some artillery? maybe some kind of avatar or greater magma elemental like a larger proper monster version of the invocation?

there are a ton of options. saying there's "nothing really else they can do for new units" when they havent even given them a standard roster selection yet is fucking laughable. they havent even exhausted the whfb-->aos kit refreshes for slayers, nevermind actually inventing new units.

the problem isnt that they wrote themselves into a corner. the problem is that they never even wrote anything at all.
