Jesus said come to him as little children. That verse gets twisted a lot... The age of reason was a debacle because they applied logic on a set of flawed human premises and got 2000+ different answers because mortals don't understand what God can do.
Example: the whole idea of purgatory was "logic" because they couldn't understand the idea of a one soul going to heaven and another soul going to hell when the difference between the two appeared to be slight. That was because they didn't understand that God could strip away the "chaff" from your soul. Matthew 3:12
